Dolomites 2006
Well I say folks what a wire pulling, scree sliding, pasta cooking Dolomighty week we had! I somehow managed to get up at 2:15am on Saturday 8th July to find Rod already waiting outside my house to drive me to the airport.
Trip to Anglesey, Jun06
As is often the case, this trip was instigated in the Hollington Oak after session on the Grove wall, in this case by someone who had just come for the beer. After a brief reference to social calendars a date was set and a group soon formed. It appears that the very name, A Dream of White Horses, has its own power of attraction, and item put in the newsletter soon added a few more takers.
Wednesday Sandstone

HRFC go to Belgium
If you were to ask any of the group who took part in the Club’s first overseas trip of the year (Dinant in the Ardennes) for a brief impression, I think the phrase, “It was a bit chilly,” might be the reply.
Sussex Lowland Search and Rescue (SusSAR)
The team is funded by donations provided by members of the public, charities, voluntary organisations, local groups and businesses and staffed entirely by volunteers - and this is where they are hoping you can help?
As the kind of people they are after are the kind of people who enjoy the same pursuits as you do, they wondered if there is anyway we could help recruit new members - especially as they are based within the same area?
Sandstone Climbing, Wednesday evenings
Weather permitting the end of April early May means sandstone rock climbing on a Wednesday evening starts again “ hooray”.
Night Walk, Feb 06
During the day, gales of wind and lashing rain did not bode well for the evening, and prompted a few a anxious phone calls asking “Is it still on?”. “Of course, but don’t forget your Sou’wester” was the reply.
